Hapū-led trades training, practical experience and pathways into employment.
Tapuwae Pae Pātūtū is a hapū-led trades training programme delivered in partnership with Te Kura Matatini o Taranaki.
The programme supports tauira to gain practical construction skills while working toward a recognised qualification.
Training takes place on hapū whenua and combines technical learning with tikanga, mātauranga Māori, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
Successful learning is about more than completing course modules.
Tapuwae Pae Pātūtū provides wraparound support to help tauira participate, build confidence and prepare for future opportunities.
